Covered Facilities
The US military and Department of Energy established an extensive network of nuclear facilities throughout the country during World War II and the Cold War. The workers who served their country at these sites were often exposed to hazardous levels of radiation and other dangers in the process of mining for nuclear materials, weapon production, and testing. Many were not even aware of the dangers their work presented.
As an effort to apologize for the hazards these workers faced in service to the nation, the US government passed EEOICPA and RECA—providing compensation for workers and their families, as well as paying for medical care for illnesses resulting from their employment.
Twilight Health focuses on serving the health care needs of nuclear and uranium workers with EEOICPA/RECA benefits. We help workers from all sites covered by EEOICPA/RECA. If you or a loved one suffer from an illness that is included in EEOICPA/RECA benefits, please contact us to learn more about your options for free medical care.
