Pantex Plant

The Pantex Plant is the main site in the United States for the assembly and disassembly of nuclear weapons. Pantex began as a traditional plant for building bombs, but the plant was closed when the war was over, leaving a large, vacant site on the edge of Amarillo, TX. With World War II over and the nuclear arms race beginning, Pantex was reclaimed by the Army and converted into a facility for the production of nuclear weapons.

Over the course of its operation, particularly in the beginning stages of nuclear weapons development and through the Cold War, the Pantex Plant exposed many employees to harmful levels of radiation and other dangerous chemicals and substances. The EEOICPA allows Pantex workers who became ill due to their work at the facility to get benefits, including free medical care.

Twilight Health specializes in serving the medical care needs of Pantex employees and other employees of nuclear and uranium facilities throughout the US who have EEOICPA/RECA benefits. We are your source for information on benefits and for free medical services. Please get in touch with us now to learn more about your free health care options.

Pantex Plant—The Facility

The Pantex Plant is located just 17 miles from Amarillo, TX. The facility is situated on a 16,000 acres of land in Carson County. While Pantex began as a conventional bomb plant in the 40s, it gradually became the focus on the United State’s nuclear production. Numerous other programs were relocated to the Pantex Plant in the 60s and 70s. Now Pantex is the only plant in the US where nuclear weapons are fully taken apart and reassembled.

Compensation for Workers

As with other nuclear production facilities throughout the US, Pantex workers experienced a higher rate of cancer and other illnesses associated with radiation exposure than workers in other jobs. The EEOICPA was established because nuclear and uranium workers sacrificed their health and well being for their country, and deserved help for all they gave.

As a former employee of Pantex, you can seek EEOICPA benefits to get the treatment required for your cancer or other illnesses that came from your employment. The compensation for Pantex workers like you can be considerable, ranging from lump sum payments to free medical care for all your medical needs for your work-related illness.

Compensation for Pantex workers through EEOICPA benefits includes doctor’s visits, modifications to vehicles based on your illness, modifications to your home based on your illness, prescription medications, in-home health care, hourly pay for your licensed personal caregiver, covering the cost of getting a personal caregiver license for your loved one and more. Comprehensive and free, the services you get are designed to help you be as healthy and feel as good as possible.

Twilight Health is a premium provider of medical services for Pantex workers and other nuclear and uranium workers with EEOICPA benefits. Please contact us to learn more about what we have to offer.
